8fit Meals

I worked on the meals section of the 8fit app. The app is designed to give users easy access to workouts and nutrition information without the potentially high costs and time-consuming aspects of a getting a gym membership.

The premium meals section provides users with access to huge numbers of nutritionist-approved meals and generates a diet plan for the next couple of weeks.

The original implementation of the meals section was a legacy webview app based on Backbone.js and other outdated technologies. I worked on a team porting the old functionality to react-native and adding new features along the way.

Tower Defense App

I created a cross-platform mobile game in the tower defense genre. This style of game involves building towers to prevent computer-controlled characters from getting across the screen.

I wrote some basic artifical intelligence to ensure that when the player places a tower, the characters will route around it to try and reach their target.
